Who are we?

Brother to brother in need, is our motto day and night!

The society is registered in the society register under number 5265312000, registered at AJPES and has membership with the Firefighting Association of Slovenia under number 1935. The society is professionally trained and equipped for Category II.

We are the oldest fire department in the Municipality of Videm and in the Videm Firefighting Association. The society was founded on November 18, 1923, when, at the initiative of head teacher Ljudevit Musko, citizens gathered to protect the area and their property from disasters.

We operate in the area of KS Videm pri Ptuju, KS Pobrežje, and KS Soviče-Dravci-Vareja. Videm firefighters cover a very diverse and demanding terrain that includes dense settlements, large industrial facilities, and the hilly areas of Haloze. We meet the requirements for a Category II fire department.
